3 Wooden houses, 12 hole, 14 hole (older) w/enlarged compartments and T-14 (recently erected) 8 THG under 2 houses. My housing is well inside the city and surrounded by mature trees except to the south and east. There is a 5 acre field (now mown, but once a hay field) |

Late start this year again very cold until today. Lost my colony about 5 years ago to unknown causes 6 pairs several adult birds dead in nests with ready to fledge young.
2008 1 ASY/SY and 1 SY/SY pair 9 fledged.
2009 13 ASY and 10 SY pairs so far 06/28/09. 5 or 6 extra SY males. One ASY nest has 10 eggs. Unless the female died and he got another immediately, this is incredible! Very doubtful this was egg dumping as the pair always defends their nest aggressively. 1st hatchling in colony on 06/25/2009 |
