James, Your next big job is to keep the Sparrows and Starlings away from your site. Trap and shoot (I do this year round). If your feeders are active and attracting doves, stop those feeders or cut then to one third for start. This will minimized the avain predators in your area. Good luck...........

Hey Don,
All I see at my site are visitors. By sun set, they are all gone.

I hope that these visitors will be the future residents at my site. I see them claiming
unoccupied rooms.

I plan to be there tomorrow morning. I can only imagine what it looks like all of the PMs

Dick,
The PMs starts gathering on the power lines at the park before sunset,
then after sunset, they start moving to the roost site.

Come and see this happening, I’ll be there again tonight.

I am having a blast taking those photos and videos. Thanks to the
Sunset Setting in my camera that allows me to produce those shots
without having to doctor them up.

I took some more photos last night and there were more PMs compared
to a week ago.

Purple Martin roost at the fountains was on KHOU TV last night. When I got to the park behind the shopping
Center, they were already there filming.

I had 14 pairs and there are 3 babies left. There were 10 that did not make it.
