I took this picture last night on my ranch as the moon was rising. I used my iPhone 11 Pro and its night mode. Pretty crazy.
I'm away from my Martins this week so just messing around but thought you guys/gals would appreciate a nature photo. I hope you don't mind.
Cool picture I took. Add yours.

Very nice! I love taking night pictures. This is with my Pixel 4xl using it's astrophotography mode. This is a 4-minute picture. when I took this I did not even notice it in the sky at the time, but if you look above the left hand side of my shed you can see a string of lights. I accidentally caught SpaceX's, Starlink Satellites going by, which were launched the day before, and did not realize it until a while later after I was looking at the results.
Obviously you have to shrink the size of these pictures down quite a bit which stinks.

2021......to be seen.
24 natural gourds on a satellite rack,9 other gourds scattered around
2-12 compartment trio houses
Rarely see a sparrow or starling, but when I do they don’t last long!
Will have a second satellite rack for the 2022 season and phase out the houses, the martins here strongly prefer natural gourds.
Last summer after a thunder storm. 2 rainbows!

Mike,
Pictures won't post without text in the message body. Plus they gotta be small. Under 500k. I always hit preview prior to posting and if there isn't text in the message body the photo won't show.
Not sure what you're dealing with but thought I'd throw that at ya.
Coolwhips.

To add to what else was stated to you, I was having the same issue for a long time posting pictures. I always had to crop the heck out of something too get it to a small enough size, but at that point instead of seeing an entire bird all that was left was a beak
I did some researching and found to add a picture that is a PNG not a JPEG. PNG is a much smaller photo size then a JPEG. And unless you're looking at these at a desktop computer instead of a mobile device you won't really see much of a quality difference. I use an app called Snapseed. In the settings I change it f to saving a picture to PNG and they lowest quality 800px. You shouldn't need to do anything except for hitting the EXPORT button which will save the same picture as it is except in a much smaller file into a different folder onto your mobile device, mine go to my downloads. And in that folder if you press the info for the picture it will tell you it's size, So you know it'll be good to add his attachment on here. Since learning this I barely had to crop anything anymore.
