Hi everyone,
To assist the young babies in beating the heat wave, I suggest soaking your crickets in water first. The parents will readily feed these soaked water crickets to their young. The add moisture will assist in keep the babies hydrated. Normally, the insects that are naturally foraged by parents have some liquid / juices in the body. Other landlords have also soaked their crickets in a mixture of water and pedialyte. I place my soaked crcikets on my raised platform feeding tray and or the exterior tunnel porches.
Mite control, heat venting, predator protection and additional feeding during bad weather add up to success.
