2019 I have 148 openings now
2016 100 pairs 600 babies fledged added another t-14 and have 126 openings now
2015 Jun 24 360 babies and 58 eggs also found one that had died
2017 632 babies 11died and 20 were killed by hawks
2015 74 pairs and 9 eggs 5/14
2010 3pairss

thanks, everyone - it's easy to do, just log in to smile.amazon.com and choose (type in) Purple Martin Conservation Association as charity you wish to benefit.

If you log into Amazon the usual way, you cannot have Amazon contribute to the PMCA on your behalf.

I will have to train myself to use a new bookmark, but it's a good opportunity to help the PMCA - we appreciate so many folks helping us out.

don't know anything about the "smile" program.. does it change the pricing structure at all?

Dorn, I don't believe so - the donation comes from Amazon, to a charity you select. You pay normal price, shipping, etc.

I'm in Louise. I changed my Amazon "bookmark" to the smile.amazon loggin. I can't remember the last time I shopped at a brick and mortar store (5-6 years maybe?) I am an Ama-zonie!

Thanks, Nikki! I think a lot of us shop at Amazon from time to time, and we are glad that Amazon is offering this option. Support for martin conservation is always greatly appreciated. :grin:

Martin Colony History: Had my site up to 22 gourds of which most (+/-3) stayed occupied.
Downsized to 17 gourds due to back surgeries. Had 14 families in 2017 but did not do nest checks due to health. Feeling better in 2018 and hoping for a good year.

Changed my bookmark from Amazon to SmileAmazon.com and already made my first purchase! And, it even works for Kindle e-books!! I can not begin to guess how many books I purchase every year. My kids keep me in gift certificates and I buy a book the minute I finish one. I easily go through a book in 2 or 3 days. Hoping to send lots of donations to the PMCA all year long. I will also spread the word with family and friends. Thanks for letting everybody know about this new way to support our loved PM's!

I live in a rual area and...hate to shop.... but LOVE AMAZON! Just made my first purchase via AMAZON/SMILE with a contribution going the the PMCA!
