The crushed egg shells offered on a raise platform is a great way for the parents to feed the babies to act as a form of grit as well as calcium to help their bones. Most landlords already know the benefits of cleaned, microwaved, crushed egg shells for the adults; but some may not be aware of the bonus of egg shells helping their babies.
Mite control, heat venting, predator protection and additional feeding during bad weather add up to success.
