Hi folks , this is not Martin related but I have always been curious about how fast migrating birds can reach their southern wintering grounds. This peregrine falcon made it from Edmonton Alberta to Columbia south America in just 16 days. You can check out the web site @ http://www.falconcam.med.ualberta.ca/ click on migration. I sure would love to place a transmitter on an Alberta Purple Martin some day.
